Uncle John is a chain of fast food restaurants with 100% Romanian concept, with seven open restaurants in Bucharest and one in Pitești.

And because ”uncle” is a member of all Romanian families, that relative who’s a good cook and is adapting to new trends, who always makes you lick your fingers after lunch or dinner, we felt the need to outline his character.

In collaboration with Alex Icodin – Managing Partner & Senior Illustrator @ Open View Studio, we created the character of Uncle John starting from the essence of the brand: a wise, experienced and skilled uncle, always ready to make you smile and boost your mood with burgers and special dishes.
